The Student Council is primarily responsible for student activities which impact the school and community. Student Council is an organization created and run by students. A faculty advisor is here to assist, but the ideas, planning and running of the activities is ultimately up to the students.
Student Council membership is open to both 7th and 8th grade students at Bear Branch Junior High. Members should have a good academic standing, obey all school rules and set an example of responsibility and integrity within the school and community. Eighth grade students will have the opportunity to run for elected officers. The officer roles will be President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Historian.
