About me...I graduated from Sam Houston State University where I received certification in the following areas: EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Language Arts, and EC-12 Special Education. I have been married for 24 years, and I have two children. My son is currently serving as a United States Marine, and my daughter is enjoying working as a pre-school teacher. I love Starbucks, Mexican food and yes… I am a TWILIGHT fan! Team Edward! Love The Hunger Games too!! I also love "Dancing with the Stars". My classroom is full of reading, writing, discussion, small group activities, technology, and projects. I believe learning should be engaging, fun, and meaningful. My see that your child has a very successful year!

Monday:  Red Out!--Wear Red to Raise Awareness for Red Ribbon Week.

Tuesday:  I’m Too Cool to get caught up in drugs--Wear Sunglasses, Hats, and Cool Socks.

Wednesday: Twin’s Day--Dress alike with a friend.

Thursday: Throwback Thursday: Choose your favorite era and dress accordingly.

Friday: Be a SUPERHERO & Say NO to Drugs!--Wear a superhero shirt/costume.

Friday: BBJH Spirit & Mismatched Shoe Day

(wear your favorite BBJH shirt and two different pair of shoes)
