About me...I graduated from Sam Houston State University where I received certification in the following areas: EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Language Arts, and EC-12 Special Education. I have been married for 27 years, I have two children,  and an adorable granddaughter. My son is a former United States Marine, and my daughter is a substitue for MISD. While I don't have any children living at home,  I am the proud momma of 3 dogs; Lilly, Diesel, and Ruger. My classroom is full of reading, writing, discussion, small group activities, technology, and projects. I believe learning should be engaging, fun, and meaningful. My see that your child has a very successful year!

Red Ribbon Week Oct. 26th-30th

Monday:  Red Out!--Wear Red to Raise Awareness for Red Ribbon Week.

Tuesday:  I’m Too Cool to get caught up in drugs--Wear Sunglasses, Hats, and Cool Socks.

Wednesday: Twin’s Day--Dress alike with a friend.

Thursday: Throwback Thursday: Choose your favorite era and dress accordingly.

Friday: Be a SUPERHERO & Say NO to Drugs!--Wear a superhero shirt/costume.

(wear your “Blue Out” t-shirt & support BBJH by wearing all blue)

Wednesday: “Be ready for your SELFIE day” (picture day)

Thursday: Crazy sock day

(wear crazy socks)

Friday: BBJH Spirit & Mismatched Shoe Day

(wear your favorite BBJH shirt and two different pair of shoes)
