Bear Branch Junior High National Honor Society
All seventh and eighth grade students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher after the third 9-weeks will be invited to apply for this prestigious honor.  Invitations/application packets will be passed out no later than mid April for potential membership in the 2018-2019 school year.  The application packet must be turned in to be considered for membership.
The NJHS focuses on five criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Below are the requirements for any student who wishes to be considered for Bear Branch Junior High NJHS chapter:
A panel of faculty members will review each candidate’s teacher evaluations, service and leadership. Students who are chosen as active members of BBJH's National Junior Honor Society will then take part in the spring induction ceremony. Active student members will be expected to maintain their GPA, demonstrate the highest level of leadership, citizenship, and character, and to complete the community service hours in order to maintain membership.
