About me - I started out in Theatre as part of my Jr High Production group in Nacogdoches under Nancy Prince. I was hooked and continued through high school and college when I graduated from Ole Miss in '04 with a BFA emphasizing performance. Afterward I worked as a professional performer in North Carolina until my wife, Crystal, & I decided to return to Texas to start a family. We have two wonderful kids; Lilly (5) and Charlie (2). In addition to teacher I still perform in my spare time; most frequently at Old West Melodrama where I am a resident company member.
My classes emphasize a studio type learning environment where we learn by doing. I try to bring real world practical application to the class for those who aspire to continue in theatre as well as show how the practice of theatre can still provide huge benefits to those whose interest lies elsewhere. Hope you're ready to have a lot of phone doing a lot of hard work!
